Fellowship

My favorite scene in Return of the King is when the four Hobbits return to their favorite Hobbit watering hole to share a few pints. (Yes, they come in pints!) The looks on their faces tell the story of the unimaginably perilous adventure. They all stared down horrible monsters and faced death many times. 

Yet here they sit. Back in Hobbiton where life goes on as if nothing has happened. 

You can tell by their knowing glances at each other that they will never be the same. 

As the new school year starts, I'm excited to anticipate all the life-changing experiences these students will share. They don't really know each other now, but in a few years they will share weddings, births and many life events.
